Taxi Club with its raw finishes was a popular spot in its hey-day. Previously an old bank, John Cochrane had the detailed task of supplying and lining the vaults with upholstered panels. The leather bar and soft panels to the front fascia, banquet seating and custom designed timber stools created by a local skilled cabinet maker, all came together to create a welcoming space, popular for an after work beer.
