The Contemporary Lounge is part of the institution that is Ballantynes department store of Christchurch. John Cochrane were chosen by Crafted to be heavily involved in this project supplying custom designed sofas & coffee tables, chairs, stools and tables for the café and large communal ottomans and soft cubes throughout, as well as additional wait seating for Ginger Megs Hair salon. Recently after being closed for some time due to the earthquake, the lounge has reopened with a lick of fresh yellow and new furniture.
